1. Know Before You Go
As a personal stylist and concierge shopper I know what your needs are by assessing your wardrobe ahead of time. With my clients, I get to know their size, favorite brands, personal style and so much more. Whether shopping for a a special event or adding basics to your wardrobe, I arrive at the store ready with the knowledge of not just the particular items you need but what looks best on you. This type of “laser focus” is so important when you go shopping on your own.

2. Make Friends with a Store Associate
The store associates are there to help.  They know what is in
stock, where the sizes you need are located and also in some wonderful instances, provide you with hidden discounts!  Save time by asking them to help you locate the items you specifically came for, that way you can start trying on the clothes and then have more time after for browsing shoes or accessories!

3. Go Shopping Again – In Your Closet!
When you come home from your shopping excursion, make sure to go shopping again – this time in your own closet!  Go through your wardrobe and make mental notes of what will pair well with your new purchases.  Perhaps the blouse that you haven’t worn in a while will complement your new jeans or that necklace you used to love but have ignored is perfect with your new dress.  The key here is remember to create as many options as possible or you can fall into an “outfit rut”.
Last but not least, know when it’s time to call in an expert. If the idea of shopping fills you with dread, let GTD Image Consulting provide personalized concierge shopping.  We will make sure you have several options to choose from, handle all the purchases and returns if necessary and create and coordinate new outfits. I have had the distinct pleasure to shop and style women for all types of occasions such as corporate events, weddings, business and leisure trips, photo shoots and of course every day attire.
My best for your shopping success,
